Name: Jiang Zhifang (蒋智芳)
Gender: Female
Age: 57
Address: Xigao Township, Guanghan City, Sichuan Province (四川省广汉市西高乡)
Occupation: Unknown
Date of Most Recent Arrest: September 21, 2006
Most recent place of detention: Sichuan Women's Prison in Yangma Town (养马镇四川省女子监狱)
City: Jianyang City (简阳市)
Province: Sichuan Province (四川省)
Persecution Suffered: Detention, Imprisonment, Illegal sentencing, Home Ransacked, Extortion, Reeducation through labor.
(Clearwisdom.net) (By a Minghui Correspondent in Sichuan Province) Ms. Jiang Zhifang believes in Truth-Compassion-Forbearance and she practices Falun Gong. In the past ten years during the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong, her home was searched several times. She was also illegally arrested and sentenced to forced labor camps several times. She suffered all kinds of persecution and torture. On September 21 2006, She was once again arrested by Yang Bin, a policeman at the National Security Bureau in Guanghan. Later, she was sentenced to three years of imprisonment by Shi Xiaoli, the judge at the Guanghan court which is controlled by the CCP.
In June 2007, Jiang Zhifang was taken to the Female Prison of Sichuan Province in Yangma Township, Jianyang City. The following policemen along with the criminals at the prison brutally persecuted her and tortured her: Yu Zhifang, Deng Qinwen, Chen Qiong, Min Lu, Zhu Xi, Xu, Chen Li, Tan Feiyan, and etc.
She almost lost her eyesight completely and was not able to take care of herself. Even when her health was in such a bad condition, the CCP officials didn't let her go. Yang Bin from the National Security in Guanghan, Bao Xingyue, Cai, and Hu Jia from the Xigao Police Substation, Qin Daoxue who is the Secretary of the CCP's committee at the village, Yang Chengquan who is the Head of the village, together with another policeman, broke into Ms. Jiang's home on September 28 2009. They didn't have any legal documents with them. When Ms. Jiang wasn't watching them closely, they placed twenty Falun Dafa truth-clarification DVDs in her living room. Then they hurriedly took some photos and claimed they found these materials at her home. They tried to force her to say she got these materials from another Falun Dafa practitioner from the same village. They were trying to incriminate another Falun Dafa practitioner.
Jiang Zhifang said, "My eyes are not good. However, my brain still works. Since I was released from prison, I fell down several times when I was walking. Therefore, I seldom go out. Nobody came here either." Policeman Yang Bin realized that she would refuse to help them incriminate the other Falun Dafa practitioner, so he threatened her, "If you don't admit this, we will put you in prison for another two years." Another policeman threatened to hit her. Then somehow his conscience spoke to him and he eventually put his fist down.
Jiang Zhifang was released from the Female Prison of Sichuan Province. However, seven days later, she was once again arrested and detained at the Guanghan Detention Center for twenty-two days.

Mr. Yu Kaixin and His Wife, Ms. Tan Shunbi, Face Sentencing
By a Minghui Correspondent in Chengdu City
(Clearwisdom.net) On November 18, 2009, Mr. Yu Kaixin and his wife, Ms. Tan Shunbi, were arrested by the Jinsha Police Station while clarifying the truth. They are being detained in the Pi County Detention Center. Police officers threaten that they will be sent to prison. Their family now feels great pressure to pay the bribes the officials demand.
Mr. Yu Kaixin is a retired teacher in his 60s. He used to have many diseases, but since he began practicing Falun Gong, all have disappeared, and he has become significantly stronger. He and his wife have been arrested many times and even brutally beaten because they refuse to give up their beliefs.
In 2000, they were arrested by public security officials while they were clarifying the truth. Mr. Yu Kaixin was illegally detained for ten days.
In November, 2008, Mr. Yu Kaixin and his wife, Tan Shunbi, were reported by public security officials and arrested by the Caitang Police Station while they were telling people about Falun Gong. Mr. Yu Kaixin shouted loudly "Falun Dafa is good." Police officers responded with tear gas, leaving his face swollen and distorted. Police forced him to the ground, took him to a police station and brutally beat him. They pressed a steel bar against the wife's mouth until it bleed. Even now, part of her mouth is still not healed. Later, they both were taken to a detention center and detained for nearly one month. They were transferred to the Xinjin Brainwashing Center for more than 20 days while police extorted money from their family for their release.
In September, 2009, Mr. Yu Kaixin was beaten by police officers when he was clarifying the truth. The police officers covered his eyes and dragged him on the ground for a long distance until his pants were tattered. Later he was detained in the Jiulidi Police Station for ten days.
In October, 2009, Ms. Yan Shunbi was arrested by plainclothes police while she was clarifying the truth about Falun Gong at the Jinsha Train Station. She was detained in the Jinsha Police Station for 15 days.

Human Rights Day in Bratislava (Photos)
(Clearwisdom.net) More than half a century ago, on December 10, the international community stipulated basic human rights which must be guaranteed to all people under all circumstances. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights was adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations. This day became an international day of human rights.
China was one of the countries which voted in favor of the declaration. In contrast to this, it is one of the largest abusers of human rights in the world. Article 5 of the declaration states: "No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment."
Falun Gong practitioners from Slovakia remembered this day on December 10, 2009, by holding a rally and collecting signatures on a petition. They informed public about human rights violations of Falun Gong practitioners in China, at the hands of the communist regime. These people are detained in forced labor camps, persecuted, and tortured for their beliefs.
The passersby asked about the absurd persecution. One older lady who passed by, signed the petition without any hesitation, saying, "You don't have to explain it much to me. I was in a concentration camp when I was young." Sad facts from China could be related to by many people from older generations.

More than a hundred people signed the petition during the event. A reporter from a state press agency wrote a piece about the rally.

Large Scale Organ Harvesting in Guizhou Province Exposed (Photos)
By Shuguang in Guizhou Province
(Clearwisdom.net) In 2009, the mainland Chinese magazine "Finance and Economics" disclosed a case of organ harvesting from a living person and murder committed by the deputy chief physician Zhang Junfeng and two other doctors at the liver transplant section of the Guangzhou City Zhongshan University affiliate No. 3 Hospital (also known as Zhongshan No. 3 Hospital). They brought a homeless person from Xingyi, Guizhou province to the hospital for blood tests and matching, took all the usable organs from his body, and then threw the corpse into the reservoir.
Organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has been widely reported outside of China, and for many years the United Nations has been requesting that the CCP publicly acknowledge the widespread practice of organ harvesting. For many years, reporting anything related to organ harvesting has been the CCP's top forbidden area. Within a month of publishing the above-mentioned article, "Finance and Economics" was ordered to suspend its publication for three months to reorganize and the Chinese Propaganda Department did not allow the media to follow up on the report.
After this event was made public, people inside and outside of China were in an uproar, and as soon as "organ harvesting" was mentioned, attention returned to Falun Gong. As early as December 22, 2000, the Minghui website reported evidence that the CCP was harvesting Falun Gong practitioners' organs. Other media further exposed the massive evil conduct of the CCP in harvesting Falun Gong practitioners' organs, a practice which reached its peak around 2003.
Perhaps readers who hear about this for the first time will be shocked as never before. How can such an inhumane thing happen in modern civilization? Perhaps some people will think it is inconceivable, even unbelievable; however, the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners has indeed reached extreme inhumanity. Even though the CCP has been covering up the truth for many years to avoid causing public outrage, these evil acts have been conducted on many people, including people who are not practitioners.
1. Use of Execution Vehicle
According to the "Guizhou Metropolis Newspaper", on February 20, 2004, the Zunyi City Intermediate People's Court began to use the nation's first large-scale execution vehicle, which cost over 600,000 yuan. People were executed in this vehicle with a medical injection. Since then this "vehicle of death" has spread to every region of China.

execution vehicle

execution vehicle
The exterior of the vehicle looks like a conventional bus, but the compartment's interior is like a hospital operating room. As early as 60 years ago, the Nazis took the lead in using a similar execution method. In order to save time in transporting the criminals and Jews, Nazi scientists developed a sealed truck which could send carbon monoxide into the vehicle from the exhaust pipe, and kill 50 people at one time.
In the eyes of CCP officials, the biggest advantage of the execution vehicle is the convenience of taking organs from criminals for profit: their eyes, kidneys, livers, pancreas, lung and all other useful body parts, are harvested. These organs are then rushed to hospitals in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, sold to rich people awaiting transplants, or sold to "organ transplant tourists" from overseas.
Because of traditional Chinese customs, very few people donate organs. Most people want to have an entire body after the death of a loved one. Almost no Chinese agree in their wills to donate their organs, nor do they discuss this topic with family members. However in recent years, the number of China's organ transplants has skyrocketed. Take the occurrences of liver transplants as an example. According to official CCP statistics, there were only 78 transplants nationwide in the eight years before 1998, but by 2003, there was a dramatic rise to over 3000 liver transplants. In 2005 alone, China carried out nearly 4000 liver transplants and 10,000 kidney transplants, however only 300 of those kidneys were from willing donors. China has many big hospitals that provide the shortest waiting period for organs in the world. During the six to seven years after 2000, some hospitals publicly declared that the waiting period for organs was one to four weeks, or even just several days. Many big hospitals performed multiple transplant operations at the same time, around the clock.
This astonishing speed and quantity is actually hiding a question: In China, where do these large numbers of human organs come from? To guarantee such a large quantity and ready availability of human organs, there has to be an organ donor bank of living people. These individuals must be strictly controlled, as they need to have blood tests and other medical testing at any time, and then, to maintain freshness and activeness of organs, they must be harvested in conjunction with the arrival time of patients. So who are the people that form such a live organ donor bank?
In July 2006, Canadian researchers publicized a 49-page investigative report on the "Organ Harvesting of Falun Gong Practitioners in China". Members of this independent investigation, David Kilgour, Canadian Secretary of State for Asia-Pacific and David Mates, renowned human rights attorney, indicated that in the past five years, it was determined that at least 41,500 organ transplants had unclear organ sources. Very possibly, they were from Falun Gong practitioners. The report provided 33 kinds of undeniable evidence.
2. Organ Banks
At the end of August, the CCP admitted to the world for the first time that organs were being taken from executed convicts, and they acknowledged that over 650f organ transplants in China are from executed prisoners. The CCP had previously vigorously denied taking organs from executed prisoners, calling such an act heartless, cruel and barbaric. This blatant assault on basic human rights does not belong in the world. Now that the CCP has actually acknowledged this in public, its primary goal is to cover up the organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners. Organ harvesting from living people has became a part of the CCP's established health system,
The CCP states that there are about 1800 executions each year; however, during the persecution of Falun Gong from 1999 to 2005, organ transplant operations increased to 60,000 cases. This is dozens of times more than the number of executed prisoners, so where were these organs coming from? After the CCP's organ harvesting was made public in 2006, the number of liver transplants suddenly plummeted. The number of liver transplants in 2007 was only half of what it was in 2005.
On March 8, 2006, a former CCP reporter in Japan disclosed to the Epoch Times newspaper in the United States, "there was a special place" in the Sujiatun area, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province of China, where massive numbers of Falun Gong practitioners were detained. They would be killed eventually and their organs removed for transplant. The crime of harvesting organs from Falun Gong practitioners in China's forced labor camps and concentration camps began at the end of 2000. It was a common occurrence and still continues in forced labor camps, prisons, secret concentration camps and related hospitals in China. On some Chinese hospital websites, you could even find a guarantee of finding matching donors for livers and kidneys within a short time. We all know even in the United States, with a very developed tradition of organ donation, the average wait time for an organ is two to seven years because of the difficulty of finding a completely compatible organ. However, in China's hospitals, matching livers and kidneys could be found within 24 hours. This witness added that many people base the organ transplant data on the CCP's official information but, in fact, the underground private organ transplant activity is many times greater than the pubic figures. The organ transplant management system is the Army; therefore, there is a need to pay specific attention to many military installations, where the genuine concentration camps are found.
Philosophy Prof. Christopher Martin at the Center for Thomistic Studies, University of St. Thomas told a reporter: This is not only a crime committed against its people by a political power, but also an extreme crime against humanity. In China so many people are killed for organs that are meant for saving people. This is a huge crime; moreover, since this results from a government policy; that makes this the government's crime.
When the persecution of Falun Gong began in 1999, the coordinated policy of Jiang Zemin and the CCP regarding the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners was to: "defame their reputations, bankrupt them financially and destroy them physically." Falun Gong was discredited and demonized by the CCP media, and practitioners suffered arbitrary arrest, detention and maltreatment. Jiang issued a secret order against Falun Gong practitioners: "It is not a crime to beat them to death, just accuse them of having committed suicide, don't report the death and have them cremated." The persecution was then pushed to the level of hysteria. In CCP prisons, forced labor camps, detention centers, mental hospital and brainwashing centers, Falun Gong practitioners who refused to give up their belief in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" have suffered cruel mental and physical torture, sexual violation, and harm from drugs that damage central nervous system. Although the CCP has not publicly sentenced Falun Gong practitioners to death up to now, the incomplete statistics at the Minghui website indicate that 3336 Falun Gong practitioners are verified to have been killed due to torture. Organ harvesting is the direct execution method of Jiang's policy to "destroy them physically".
Organ harvesting began from the secret orders of Jiang and the Central Committee of the CCP. Orders were sent to every military area, and the Army became the main responsible organization for the CCP's management system of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners. The Army, medical departments, 610 Offices, police, detention centers and prison system coordinated and conducted blood tests on Falun Gong practitioners nationwide. They were registered into a computer system, as a unified live organ bank. They worked together to imprison the practitioners, designate those whose organs are needed, transport them, remove the organs and then cremate the corpses to cover up the evidence. Because the crime of harvesting Falun Gong practitioners' organs was exposed, the international community's attention was aroused and the CCP moved the organ harvesting underground and destroyed evidence on a large-scale basis. However, the organ harvesting is still happening.
At the beginning of May 2006, an investigative reporter from Sound of Hope International Radio questioned doctors at the Shandong Weihai Navy 404 Hospital about a transplant. One doctor promised a family member of a patient requesting a liver transplant that lots of organs would arrive in mid-May, all from healthy adult death penalty prisoners. The 404 Hospital deals mainly in liver transplants. The hospital indicated that a living liver was located in Guizhou, removed at the Shanghai Hospital, and then assigned to the 404 Hospital. When asked if the organ source involved anything illegal, the doctor guaranteed that everything from the Guizhou side was perfectly legal, so there was no need for the patient to worry.
Based on what the doctors at the Weihai Navy 404 Hospital disclosed, it was inferred that Guizhou has a living organ bank. Just like the witness who exposed the plots going on behind the scenes at the concentration camp said, they are lying their way through the legal procedures. Because of Guizhou's unique topography, the military installation is complex. Many of the mountains are home to secret military bases that the CCP has used for war preparation in the past. If large numbers of Falun Gong practitioners are imprisoned there, it would not be easily discovered by the outside world. Therefore it is important to expose the behind-the-scenes plotting layer by layer, and prevent the imminent killing of more Falun Gong practitioners.
3. Two Guizhou Falun Gong Practitioners Had Organs Removed and their Corpses Discarded
In August 2006, the overseas media filed many reports about Guizhou Falun Gong practitioners Fu Keshu of Kaiyang County and Xu Genli of Jinsha County. The practitioners had their organs removed and the their corpses were thrown into the wilderness. The pictures of the remains were horrible to view and shocked many people both inside and outside of China. At the same time it also allowed the population of Guizhou to clearly see the CCP's evil and terror for the first time.

Fu Keshu

Xu Genli
At the end of April 2006, after being missing for half a year, the bodies of Falun Gong practitioners Fu Keshu of Kaiyang County and Xu Genli of Jinsha County were found at Five Fingers Peak in Jinggang Mountain. It was apparent to those who saw them that their organs had been removed. The eyeballs had been dug out and Xu Genli's visceral organs were taken out of the young man. Dr. Xu Jianchao from the kidney branch of Yale University analyzed the pictures and saw many signs indicating that their organs were removed while they were alive. However, the CCP police claimed they both committed suicide, so the families' requests for further investigation were denied.
After hearing of this atrocity, the author of this article, also a resident of Guizhou, called an army hospital in the capital Nanchang, Jiangxi where Jinggang Mountain is located, claiming that a family member needed an organ transplant and inquiring what the wait would be. The hospital was quick to respond, "If you can get 60,000 yuan together, we will have a donor very quickly and your relative may have the surgery in a week."
Canadian independent investigators Kilgour and others said in Report into Allegations of Organ Harvesting of Falun Gong Practitioners in China: "The CCP's crime of organ harvesting from live Falun Gong practitioners is a grotesque form of evil new to this planet". Every small piece of information from different aspects callously explains this matter's real and huge scale.
4. United Nations Requests Investigation
At present, under public opinion pressure from the international community, politicians in 18 countries have requested the United Nations to take action. The United Nations' counter-torture committee issued a report, requesting an investigation of organ harvesting from live Falun Gong practitioners, and requested that the responsible people be brought to justice.
Recently a Spanish Court made a historic decision and indicted CCP ex-leader Jiang Zemin and four other high-ranking CCP officials on charges of genocide and torture for their role in the persecution of Falun Gong. The court notice indicated that if the defendants are found guilty, they will face at least 20 years imprisonment. This prosecution is against the nationwide persecution and acts of "genocide" initiated by Jiang on Falun Gong practitioners who firmly practice "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance". The defendants have four to six weeks to dispute the charges. If there is no response, the court will issue an international warrant for their arrest.
Carlos Iglesias, a lawyer representing the plaintiffs said, "This historic decision by a Spanish judge means that Chinese Communist Party leaders responsible for brutal crimes are now one step closer to being brought to justice. Those who commit monstrous crimes need to know, their day in court is coming. Peaceful and innocent Falun Gong practitioners are cruelly persecuted only because of their belief; this is not allowed by the law and will of the people. Justice is inescapable. Nobody will escape this just trial. The people of China, the Chinese people with 5000 years of precious history and culture, can't allow the CCP to trample on their values. I sincerely hope that the light of justice shines on the great land of China as soon as possible."
The organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners is the gravest of the many crimes the CCP has committed against Falun Gong practitioners.

(Clearwisdom.net) (By a correspondent from Sichuan Province) Ms. Jiang Nan was arrested on August 7, 2009, while she was distributing materials about Falun Gong and exposing the persecution. She was taken to the Deyang City Mental Health Center, where she was forced to take large doses of unknown drugs for almost four months.
Ms. Jiang, 39, a teacher at the Deyang No. 2 Middle School, began practicing Falun Dafa at the recommendation of her ex-husband, Peng Haibo. After she became a practitioner, her sinusitis, dermatitis, and eczema all disappeared. Her husband stopped practicing after the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started the persecution of Falun Dafa on July 20, 1999. He also forbade his wife from practicing, and he hit and kicked her whenever she did the exercises. He also destroyed her Falun Dafa books. Since Ms. Jiang was unable to do the exercises at home, she would do them in the school where she worked. When the school officials and teachers found out about it, she was suspended and a confession was extorted from her.
In 2008, her husband divorced Ms. Jiang after discovering that she had clarified the truth to a fellow teacher. She suffered an emotional breakdown and was suspended from her job and was told to stay home and have her illness treated.
Despite the brutal persecution, Ms. Jiang quickly overcame all difficulties and persisted in clarifying the facts and talking about the goodness of Falun Dafa. She did not consider her own safety and she persevered in talking to people about Dafa and advising them to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
On August 7, 2009, an informant reported Ms. Jiang to the police while she was distributing informational material in Longqiao, Deyang City. The police arrested her, broke into her home, and took about a dozen Falun Dafa books and other personal items. They handcuffed her in the presence of an official from her school and took her to a mental health center against her will. The police told the officials at the mental health center that she could not leave the hospital without the permission of school officials. They also told her that she would be given a criminal sentence if she continued to practice Falun Dafa. Her school principal said that Ms. Jiang had to admit that she suffered from mental illness in order to avoid a criminal sentence.
In the mental health center, Ms. Jiang was forced to take many unknown drugs. Several people tied her to a bed or a chair and forced her to ingest them. She was tied her to a bed or chair for prolonged periods and did not receive proper care. She soon became emaciated .
In November of 2009, Doctor Zhou of the mental health center told Ms. Jiang's family that she was well enough to be discharged from the hospital, but her school supervisor was required to pick her up. Ms. Jiang's family contacted director Wei of the Deyang City No. 2 Middle School, but he did not go get her from the medical center. Ten days later, Ms. Jiang's family again asked Wei to get Ms. Jiang from the hospital. Wei replied that he would go to the hospital before the end of the week.
A plea is being made to all people of justice to join efforts to stop the CCP's persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners and rescue the hundreds of thousands of good people like Ms. Jiang Nan.

Four Practitioners from Zhaoyuan City Heavily Sentenced Without a Trial
By a Minghui correspondent from Shandong Province
(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Zhang Shuchun, Ms. Wang Haohong, Mr. Li Yongjie and Mr. Peng Yuekuan from Zhaoyuan, Shandong Province, were arrested and then heavily sentenced by the Zhaoyuan Municipal Court. As of November 9, 2009, they have been held for five and a half months. Ms. Zhang Shuchun was sentenced to seven and a half years, Ms. Wang Haohong seven years, and Mr. Li Yongjie five years, while the sentence of Mr. Peng Yuekuan is unknown.
On November 9, a so-called trial was held, while in fact there was nothing legal about the proceedings. The only ones present in the courtroom were Wang Haitao, the vice presiding judge, and one of his staff members. The only ones in the audience were five of the defendants' relatives. After Wang Haitao arrived in the court room, he and his staff member hastily wrote down some things. When they were done writing, Wang Haitao announced the judgments to the defendants' relatives. The relatives of the Dafa practitioners were very angry and asked the court, "How can you make such sentences without an open court?" Wang Haitao answered, "There is no need for an open court."
The mothers of Zhang Shuchun and Wang Haohong, are both almost 80 years old. So that they would not miss their daughters' court hearing, the two elderly mothers waited for seven days outside near the detention station where Ms. Zhang and Ms. Wang were in custody. During that time a cold front came through and the temperature dropped significantly. At night, they slept on corn stalks near the detention station. They were not able to see their daughters in the court; they could only hear the harsh sentences against their daughters.
Ms. Zhang Shuchun, Ms. Wang Haohong, Mr. Li Yongjie and Mr. Peng Yuekuan were brutally arrested in Xingbei Village, Xiadian Town in May 2009. The arrest was reported by the Clearwisdom website. They have been held in Zhaoyuan City Detention Station for five and a half months. Dafa practitioners Mr. Wang Renqing and Mr. Wang Lianglin were also arrested at the same time. They are still detained and suffering persecution in the notorious Ling Nan Jin Brainwashing Center.
Ms. Zhang Shuchun, Ms. Wang Haohong, Mr. Li Yongjie, and Mr. Peng Yuekuan have been suffering severe persecution from the Chinese Communist Party during the past decade. This persecution has been reported by the Clearwisdom website on many occasions. Ms. Zhang Shuchun, Ms. Wang Haohong and Mr. Li Yongjie were forcibly displaced for many years. Mr. Peng Yuekuan has previously been sentenced to five years. He has been arrested again, just less than a year just after he finished serving five years in jail.
Dafa practitioners, Ms. Wang Meifen, Ms. Li Yufeng and Ms. Yang Songmei have also been arrested recently and have been detained in brainwashing centers.
We hope that the situation of the persecuted practitioners in Zhaoyuan City will come to the attention of advocates of justice at home and abroad.

The Decade-Long Persecution of Ms. Luo Junlan
By a Falun Dafa practitioner in Sichuan Province
Name: Luo Junlan
Gender: Female
Age: 56
Address: No. 231 Dongping Street, Lanjiang Town, Suining City, Sichuan Province
Occupation: Unknown
Date of Most Recent Arrest: August 9, 2005
Most Recent Place of Detention: Lezhi County Detention Center
City: Suining
Province: Sichuan
Persecution Suffered: Detention, hung up, beatings, malnutrition, torture, extortion, home ransacked
(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Luo Junlan has been persecuted for ten years. Government officials have harassed her, ransacked her home, and arrested her on 29 occasions. She once lived away from home for more than two years to avoid the persecution.
Below is her personal account of the persecution.
I live at No. 231 Dongping Street in Lanjiang Town, Suining City, Sichuan Province, and am a seamstress. I used to suffer from various illnesses, including migraines, chronic pharyngitis, gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD), angina pectoris and stomach problems, and was eventually diagnosed with gastric cancer. Fortunately, I began practicing Falun Gong in January 1999. Master saved my life, but Jiang Zemin banned Falun Gong six months later by spreading vicious lies and fanatically persecuting the practitioners.
Communist Party officials harassed me, ransacked my home, and arrested and detained me for a total of 29 times in the last ten years and also tapped my phone.
Persecution and torture in Beijing in 2000
I joined four other practitioners to go to Beijing to appeal on behalf of Falun Gong on February 18, 2000. One of the practitioners left a note for her husband, who submitted it to the police, leaking our travel plans. The police came to my home in my absence and arrested my 16-year-old niece. They locked her in a small, dark room for one hour and interrogated her as to my whereabouts. She was terrified and burst into tears.
The police divided into two groups and went separate ways to intercept us. One group rented a private car that belonged to a person named Xia Guanghua and went to the Chengdu Train Station; the other group, headed by Fenshui Town Police Station head Rong Huaneng, went to the Mianyang Train Station. The five of us were intercepted at the Mianyang Train Station ticket checkpoint at 7:00 p.m. on February 28, 2000. They led us inside the waiting room and took our copies of Zhuan Falun. They declared I was the organizer and handcuffed me and pushed me into a vehicle. It was a bit past 2:00 a.m. by the time we arrived at the police station. Official Tang Yuying body-searched us. Then they locked us in a small dark room.
Liu Zhongyun, a street thug in his 30s whom the police had hired, took me out of the room at 8:00 a.m. the next day and led me to the interrogation room. Liu Zhongyun and police officer Yang Chao, in his 20s, each grabbed a pair of handcuffs and handcuffed me spread-eagled to the metal frames of a window so that my feet barely touched the ground. Yang Chao kicked my feet with his boots to part them; then he took out a spiked stick and began whipping me with it, starting from the neck and going down to my toes. He cursed me and demanded, "Who told you to go to Beijing?" He also used vulgar words against Master and Falun Gong. After he became exhausted, Liu Zhongyun took over the beating. Violent blows rained on the insteps of my feet. They also verbally assaulted me and whacked my left thigh. I did not scream or shed a single tear; instead I shouted "Master" in my mind. I would have certainly been permanently handicapped had it not been for Master bearing everything for me.
Yang Chao eventually let me down and handcuffed me behind my back to a chair. The chair was right beneath a ceiling fan that they turned to maximum speed, saying, "So you don't get sick from practicing Falun Gong? We'll let it blow on you for 20 minutes and see if you catch cold!" He shut the door and left. A while later he came in and saw I was perfectly fine, so he turned on another fan, also at maximum speed. He again shut the door and left. I recited Lunyu and "Tempering the Will" from Hong Yin. I felt incredible warmth throughout my body. Yang Chao returned at noon while holding a bowl of food and eating. Since I was still perfectly healthy he said, "Forget it." He undid the handcuffs and locked me in a dark room. I was not given any food.
They took me to the interrogation room again at 8:00 a.m. on the third day, February 20, 2000. Yang Chao and Liu Zhongyun again handcuffed me spread-eagled to the window frame. I could see the tax bureau through the window right behind the police station; many tax bureau employees saw the police beating me. The front door of the interrogation room was open to the street, and many people gathered and wondered why I was hung up. I shouted at the crowd, "I practice Falun Gong and am a good person who lives by Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." They still did not give me anything to eat at noon. I was handcuffed for more than ten hours. In the evening they locked practitioner Li Yuqiong and me in a small, dark room with filthy water on the floor and called it a "dungeon."
They tried to coerce us to write guarantee statements and extorted 5,000 yuan from each of the other four practitioners. They released the other four practitioners after five days of detention, but they demanded 10,000 yuan from me for my release. My family was destitute. They borrowed 10,000 yuan, a debt that we have not been able to repay to this day. Official Wang Benhua counted my money and Liu Yongjun wrote a receipt for 9,000 yuan. I was held for six days before being released. Liu Yongjun said, "If you guys won't appeal in May, we'll return your money after May." But he broke that promise.
Once home again, my thumbs were numb for a long time, and I was covered with purple bruises. The bruises on my left thigh remained for six months.
Yang Chao came to my home at 6:00 p.m. on May 10, 2000, and pounded on the door for more than an hour. I was not home at the time. They wanted to persecute me because they thought I might celebrate Master's birthday.
Liu Yongjun took eight practitioners, including myself, to the Suining Party School on May 13, 2000. Several hundred practitioners were sitting on the floor in the conference room at the Party School. The officials ordered two collaborators from Nanmusi to "reform" us.
Officials Liu Yongjun and Duan Zhenhua called practitioner Wang Chunlan and myself to the town office on June 29, 2000, and demanded that we promise not to appeal or practice Falun Gong, and that they were going to record it on tape. We refused, and they detained us. Wang Benhua and Tang Yuying monitored us for three days to prevent us from appealing on July 1, 2000. They also extorted 200 yuan from every practitioner.
Duan Zhenhua and police officer Tang Guishu broke into my home the evening of November 2, 2000, and hastily said to me, "We just came to see if you are home. Wang Yunping and Wang Chunlan went to Beijing today to appeal and were arrested in Chongqing. Chongqing police called us." I eventually learned that seven practitioners had set off on this trip; all of them were arrested and incarcerated.
Official Zhong Wenfu and ten officials, including Liu Yongjun and Yang Chao, ransacked my home on the evening of December 15, 2000. Zhong Wenfu was the head of the Armed Division. Yang Chao took my copy of Zhuan Falun, recorder(s), and exercise tapes and transported me to the police station. They also arrested five other practitioners and transferred the six of us to the town government office in the middle of the night. Seven other practitioners were arrested the following day.
I saw official Lu Shaohua repeatedly slap practitioner Mr. Liao Qinghai's face. Mr. Liao was in his 20s. Zhong Wenfu dragged him next door later on, and we all heard beating and cursing. They brought journalist Lu Lin from Suining City to videotape the proceedings. They attempted to coerce us to curse Master and Dafa. I refused. When they pointed the video camera at me, I said, "I used to suffer from stomach cancer, and Falun Gong restored my health. I did not take a single pill." They shut off the video camera before I could finish and would not let me say anything else.
Zhong Wenfu's wife cooked for us. Each meal consisted of thinly diluted congee and bok choy, but they charged each person 50 yuan a day, although rice sold for only 80 cents per half kilogram [1 lb]. They held me for four days and didn't let me sleep. Two persons monitored me in two-hour shifts watched me. We all had 5,000 yuan and 100 yuan in "living expenses" extorted from us. We gave the money to Liu Yongjun. They let us go home only after we had six people guaranteeing on our behalf that we would not appeal for Falun Gong.
Practitioner Tang Deshu visited me in my home on December 24, 2000, for five minutes before Dongping Street official Pan Jiafu reported us to the police. Soon, Zhong Wenfu and eight officials arrived at my home. They yelled at me, saying, "What is Tang Deshu doing in your home?" They turned everything upside-down but couldn't find anything. They swore at me and left.
My 12-year-old son forced out of school and other information
Huang Lirong, president of the workers' union at my son Luo Wen's school, called my son to his office the morning of April 5, 2001. He slapped my son's face several times and said to him, "Your mother practices Falun Gong." My son left school. That was the end of his formal education. He went to Yunnan at the age of 12 and learned to be a car mechanic.
Practitioner Su Qionghua died from persecution on December 20, 2000. Yang Chao and five other officials pounded on my door at 9:00 p.m. that day. I refused to open and stood on the balcony and asked what they wanted. Yang Chao said, "We heard you guys are going to make trouble in Suining City, so we are taking you to the police station tonight." I said, "How could I make any trouble? I was sleeping. You guys are making trouble." They left. Zhong Rongfa and another six officials later came at 2:00 a.m. and almost beat my door down. They arrested me and five other practitioners and held us for two days. At the police station we learned that Su Qionghua had died as a result of abuse and gross mistreatment. They were afraid that we would appeal for Su Qionghua.
Duan Zhenhua gave me a 200-yuan receipt the morning of June 2, 2001, and said, "Every Falun Gong practitioner is fined 200 yuan." He deducted the 200 yuan from the 9,000 yuan receipt issued from the time before.
The local police arrived at my home without a warrant or prior notice at all times of the day and night and felt free to ransack it after I was illegally arrested in 1999. Police officers Yang Chao and Sun Qifu, the secretary of the Politics and Law committee, and government official Zeng Guangli led people to ransack my home almost every week in June 2001. Yang Chao brought five people to my home during the day on June 7, 2001, in my absence. Sun Qifu brought eight people that evening. They ransacked my home but did not find anything related to Falun Gong. They arrested practitioner Li Yuqiong and her 11-year-old son Cai Jinquan that day.
Sun Qifu again brought eight people to ransack my home, at 9:00 p.m. on June 13, 2001. They still found nothing, yet arrested practitioner Rong Ping, who was staying at my home.
Yang Chao, Zeng Guangli, and two other officials ransacked my home at 8:30 p.m. on June 20, 2001. They did not find anything to incriminate me, but Zeng Guangli took my identification card. When I asked for my card back later on, they said they had left it at the police station and could not find it. When Zeng Guangli eventually gave me my card back, he ordered me to write a receipt. I said, "Why should I write you a receipt? That's ridiculous." He left.
Beaten for refusal to write a guarantee statements, arrested and robbed
Official Pan Jiafu told all the Falun Gong practitioners in the local area to go to the town government on October 28, 2002. I refused to go. In the evening, Lu Shaohua and four other officials dragged me to the town office. I saw that all the practitioners who had gone there during the day were locked up. More than 30 Party officials stood around the practitioners. Zeng Guangli held a pen and paper and attempted to coerce me to write a guarantee statement--to promise I would not hand out Falun Gong flyers, hang up Falun Gong banners, cross out Falun Gong-slandering propaganda at public places, appeal for Falun Gong, or do the Falun Gong exercises. I refused to write it. Rong Faneng ran toward me, holding a teacup in his left hand. He grabbed my collar with his right hand and dragged me into a room, punched my neck, and struck me to the ground. I thought, "I am a Dafa practitioner. I cannot lie on the ground." I immediately sprang up. Rong Faneng attacked me with extremely vulgar language, shoved me into a police vehicle, kicking my back, and drove to the police station. At the police station they locked me onto a chair. Practitioner Xiao Fayu said Rong Faneng also hit her. Street Party Committee official Peng Fang and police officer Tao Chunming took me home a little past midnight.
Police officers Wu Cunzhong and Tao Chunming came to my home at 3:00 p.m. on October 30, 2002, and demanded my identification card number, to prevent me from appealing, since the Sixteenth Party Congress was approaching.
Street Party Committee official Li Miejiang arrived with five people the evening of October 2, 2003, to ransack my home. They returned at 9:00 p.m. only an hour after they had come the first time, to harass me again by pounding on my door.
Street Party committee head Chen Xirong arrived with eight people the evening of October 5, 2003. They pounded on my door to harass me. In order to avoid further persecution, I went to remote Yunnan Province on October 12, 2003, and lived there for nine months.
Four practitioners and I went to Tailai Street in Lezhi County on August 9, 2005, to hand out flyers and speak with passersby about Falun Gong. Someone reported us to the police. We were arrested and taken to the county detention center, where we were held for ten days. The police also ransacked our homes and took 2,495 yuan from me.
The police pounded on my door the evening of March 10, 2006, but I refused to open it. They did it again at 4: 30 a.m. the next day. I still refused to open it. Beginning on March 18, 2006, Chen Xirong and a group of people harassed my relatives at my mother's home three times within ten days. They pounded on my door at all hours of the day and night after that.
I left home again to avoid additional persecution
A group of police officers broke into my home at 5:00 p.m. on June 28, 2007, and blocked the door to prevent anyone from going in or out. They ransacked my home and took images with Master's portraits, Falun Gong books, VCDs, and MP3 players. I left safely under Master's protection. They arrested my daughter-in-law and intimidated her so that she would turn me in. They asked her, "Where are the machines?" meaning the computers used to produce Falun Gong materials. She said, "The machine is downstairs." She meant the sewing machine, since we run a home-based sewing business. They asked, "Who came to your home?" They meant which Falun Gong practitioners had contact with us, and she answered, "People come everyday to have their clothes made." They interrogated her for a few hours. During this time other police ransacked several Falun Dafa materials production sites and arrested many practitioners.
I have not returned home since June 28, 2007. The officials looked for me and posted a 2,000-yuan reward for anyone who reports me to the police.
Lanjiang Division 10 Party secretary Liu Shengjun and Lu Shaofu, younger brother of division official Lu Shaohua, came to my home on October 16, 2007, and tried to arrest me. They also told my neighbors to report me and promised them monetary rewards for doing so.
They held a public meeting on July 19, 2008, and encouraged all Party members to find and arrest me. Whoever did would be awarded 500 yuan. From the next day on, Division 10 head Luo Shuokai stood at the train station and said, "Whoever reports Luo Junlan to the police will be given 500 yuan." Luo Shuokai also mobilized my neighbors to keep me under surveillance and report me. My neighbors mistakenly thought that a false report would also earn them money, so they falsely told the officials I had returned home when I had not. The result was a total farce. After getting the neighbors' "tip," Lu Shaohua and nine other officials went to ransack my home and arrest me at noon on April 22, 2009. My retired uncle, his wife and son were living at my home to take care of my uncle's 93-year-old father. Lu Shaohua stood in the doorway while the other officials turned everything upside down. They even lifted the mattress and looked underneath for Falun Gong materials. My non-practitioner uncle nearly got into a fight with the police.
They rummaged through my uncle and his family's belongings and took my Falun Gong DVDs and two calendars printed with Falun Gong information. They did not find me, so they took my 66-year-old uncle, Luo Guanzhong, and 65-year-old Aunt Tang Qihui to the police station and interrogated them for several hours. My uncle and his family decided to return to Chengdu City to avoid another "attack" by the officials.
Even now, the authorities are still trying to arrest me. According to an insider, they have raised the reward for whoever finds me to 10,000 yuan and sent officials to look for me in Suining City.
More than 20 practitioners' homes were ransacked over the past three months, some four times. Practitioners Yuan Shulin, Liu Yuqing, and Jiang Jiaqing were arrested, and two of them are still in police custody. Jiang Jiaqing was released after handing over 10,000 yuan in extortion. The police also took a bank deposit slip worth 27,500 yuan, which still has not been returned.

This is the final battle,
From far to near,
From heaven to earth
An intermittent dark cloud rolls,
Rows of heroes demonstrate might.
This is an eternal magnificence,
Lightning and thundering,
Earth is shaken and heaven is shocked,
Life and history,
All are renewing.
This is huge surging,
The universe revolves,
The spring returns to earth,
A ray of truth shines among boundless maze,
Sound of cosmos echoes between heaven and earth.

Mr. Sui Jingjiang Dies as a Result of Injections of Unknown Drugs Given in Changlinzi Men's Forced Labor Camp
Name: Sui Jingjiang (隋景江)
Gender: Male
Age: 51
Address: Taipinggou Village, Sheli Township, Acheng District, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province
Occupation: Farmer
Date of Death: November 26, 2009
Date of Most Recent Arrest: August 8, 2006
Most Recent Place of Detention: Changlinzi Men's Forced Labor Camp in Harbin
City: Harbin
Province: Heilongjiang
Persecution Suffered: Forced labor, brainwashing, forced injections/drug administration, beatings, torture, home ransacked, interrogation, detention
(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Sui was a kind and honest farmer. He previously had lung cancer, but after practicing Falun Dafa, his cancer disappeared. His miraculous recovery validated Falun Dafa, and he enjoyed a healthy life. He went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa after the persecution began but was arrested and sent back to his hometown, and detained many times. In January 2001, he was arrested by local police, detained for two months in the Acheng District Detention Center for several months, and then sent to a brainwashing session held in the Textile Vocational School.
Around May 1, 2001, the police took him to the Orientation Ward at the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp, and then transferred him to the Changlinzi Men's Forced Labor Camp. Section Chief Hao Wei ordered him to get an injection for high blood pressure. Mr. Sui said that he felt fine and there was no need for a shot, but Hao insisted. Mr. Sui discovered there was no label on the "medicine" bottle, so he asked the medical worker why not and what kind of drug she was giving him.
The doctor replied viciously, "Don't bother to ask, I will be responsible!" After the injections he felt miserable, almost like he was paralyzed. His limbs turned purple and they did not work properly. The next day the deputy section chief came and forced him to have another injection, and then a third. He couldn't remember exactly what happened. He was a very smart person and worked as an electrician in the village, a highly-skilled job, but after the injections he became very slow, was unable to raise his head, and had no energy. His persecution did not stop there.
After a checkup several months later, he appeared to have very high blood pressure and was released. Upon arriving home, he had a bad case of scabies, and his skin festered. Through his practicing Falun Dafa, his health recovered.
On August 8, 2006, more than 30 officers surrounded Mr. Sui's home to arrest him and ransack his home. They detained him for more than 20 days in the Acheng District Detention Center and then again took him to the Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp. Soon after he arrived, a guard gave him another poisonous injection. This shot caused Mr. Sui to totally collapse. He lost his memory and became mentally unstable, constantly laughing at himself, and he said everyone else's faces were purple. He often saw things and talked nonsense and wore thin clothes in the winter and ran outside.
Mr. Sui's wife, also a practitioner, returned home after her release from Wanjia Forced Labor Camp. She read the Fa to hi, and shared her understandings when he was relatively clear minded. The local practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts together to help cleanse his dimensions. His condition did get better, but then he got worse. He died on November 26, 2009.

Letting Go of the Attachment to Sentimentality and Managing Family with Compassion
From the Sixth Internet Experience Sharing Conference for Practitioners in China
By a Dafa Disciple in China
(Clearwisdom.net) Greetings Master! Greetings all fellow practitioners!
I've been a Dafa disciple for over ten years. Looking back at my cultivation journey, there were many occasions where I didn't adhere to the standards of the Fa. Therefore when I was initially asked to submit an experience-sharing paper, I felt I had nothing worth mentioning. Yet, with fellow practitioners' encouragement, I collected my thoughts and decided to share my personal experience of cultivating away the attachment to sentimentality and of harmonizing the environment in my own family. I hope fellow practitioners who have similar attachments can learn from my experience so that we can all transform our families into harmonious cultivation environments.
Like any other girl, I too dreamed of having a wonderful family since I was little. The wish came true when I met my soul mate, got married, and became a mother.
After the persecution started in 1999, I was illegally arrested and sent to forced labor camps multiple times due to my distributing truth-clarification materials and going to Beijing to appeal. The main reason was that I couldn't let go of the attachment to sentimentality. That strong attachment made me fail to act by the standards of the Fa. It was then used by the old forces as a loophole to persecute me and my family.
After I was released from the labor camp, I found that my husband had completely changed into a maniac. He was indulging in alcohol, and he was beating and cursing at people. Even his own child gave him looks of disgust. My husband was no longer that caring person, and I interpreted it as his way of venting--I could imagine what he had to go through for the family while I was gone. However, the changes in him were beyond my wildest dreams. Not only did he have a mistress somewhere, but he formed habits of whoring, gambling, and smoking as well. In addition, he did not allow me to practice Dafa.
Although my husband didn't practice Dafa as diligently as I did before, he knew Dafa was good, and he had benefited from learning Falun Dafa. It was inconceivable for me to understand how he changed so much. He used to be this kind and honest person, whom I always took pride in. How could he trash himself to such a horrible stage? Thinking about the old, happy days and looking at the present man and the home around me, I could not accept the reality. Despair took over. I was buried in tears, and I completely stopped studying the Fa, doing the exercises, and clarifying the truth. I regretted marrying him and being cheated on for so many years. I wanted to divorce him and to stop the humiliation.
One day after I drank a whole bottle of alcohol, I started crying. My heart screamed at the top of my lungs: "Please help me Master. It is so painful. I can't stand it any more." When I woke up, I felt all my internal organs were churning. Yet getting drunk didn't solve my problem. It made me feel even worse. I calmed down and asked myself "What are you doing? Are you still a cultivator? What is the purpose of your life? Is the happiness pursued by sentient beings true happiness? What would happen after I obtain it? Doesn't the fact that I feel so sad show that I haven't let go of the attachment to sentimentality? As a cultivator, shouldn't I let go of the attachment? I was still pursuing it while I asked Master for help! My tears started streaming down again. Only this time I was ashamed of myself facing Master. I was determined to let go the attachment to sentimentality and to my husband.
The thought totally changed my attitude towards my husband. I no longer cared about what he did or where he went. I acted as if he didn't exist. If he came home, I cooked for him. But if not, I wouldn't bother to ask. Instead, I studied the Fa and did exercises whenever I had time. Although it was depressing, it felt a lot quieter at home. There was no cursing, shouting, or crying.
As I continued to study the Fa and advanced myself within the Fa, I began to reflect. Master wanted us to let go of the attachment of sentimentality, and to completely negate the old forces' arrangement, whereas I had such a strong attachment. When I encountered problems, I only viewed them as xinxing tests instead of digging deeply to locate the root cause. Studying the Fa made me realize that the old forces seized my attachment of sentimentality and magnified it in order to entrap me further. As a result I failed to cultivate as a true practitioner, failed to act by the standards of the Fa to a point that I almost wanted to give up my cultivation. Furthermore, while the old forces were using my husband to persecute and destroy me, they were also using me to persecute and destroy him. Was this just a small problem? I suddenly realized how serious the situation was, and how horribly I acted. Had it not been compassionate Master who gave me hints over and over and protected me like to a child, I would have destroyed not only myself, but also countless sentient beings who had a predestined relationship with me. Dafa re-equipped my lost heart with righteous thoughts. With that, I knew what to do. I must let go of the attachment and get rid of the interference imposed on me by the evil forces. I should be compassionate toward my husband and harmonize my family environment.
From then on, instead of saying things that hurt his feelings or doing things that embarrassed him, I put heart into taking care of my husband. Due to his alcoholism, his own child became less respectful to him. I pointed out to our child that his dad used to be a kind man. He wasn't born like this. It was the pressure from the social environment that changed him. He must understand that his dad's life wasn't easy. To my husband, I made him realize that his drunken behavior pushed his own child away. He didn't listen initially. Despite what I told him, he came home drunk and watched me with his eyes half-shut. If I did anything that wasn't to his satisfaction, he'd act as if to blow up. I reminded myself that Master required us to not fight back when punched or insulted. I must maintain my xinxing and be kind to him with compassion. Despite what he did or said, I remained unaffected and took care of his day-to-day life. He stopped verbally attacking me as he used to.
My husband was the eldest son in the family. Since his dad passed away many years ago, his mom lived with us. The fact that I didn't get along with her affected my relationship with my husband in a negative way. Thinking about what I had done for this family and the humiliation I got in return (my husband often punched and kicked me in front of his mother), I allowed hatred to grow in my heart. If I hadn't practiced Dafa, I would have fought back fiercely. They took advantage of me so much! I didn't believe I had any predestined relationship with them. I knew I shouldn't treat them the same way they treated me, yet I couldn't let go of my hatred.
When I made my determination to harmonize my family environment, I realized, through studying the Fa, that in the past I didn't endure, let alone keep my compassion in the face of my husband and his mother's unfair treatment. Whenever the opportunity came to improve my xinxing, instead of searching inwardly as Master taught in the Fa, I held anger in my heart. My mind was filled with human thinking. Although I didn't blow up, hatred was deeply planted in my heart. Like a shining beacon, the Fa lit up the cultivation journey that lay ahead of me. I no longer hated them. I could face my mother-in-law with an open heart. I could take good care of her day-to-day life and not be affected by her comments or reactions. Sometimes the hatred surfaced when a memory of how she used to treat me flashed back, but I instantly got rid of it with righteous thoughts. I knew it belonged to the evil forces, not me. Little by little, I was able to keep a smile on my face when I was with her. I was able to let the selfishness go and put my sister and brother-in-laws' needs first. If there was still something I couldn't get over, I studied the Fa.
Little by little, Dafa changed me. It also gradually affected my husband. The times he came home drunk were less. Our child stopped giving him disgusted looks. His mother told everybody that I was like her own daughter. More excitingly, my husband started studying and reciting the Fa. Seeing such a change in him, I wept again. I felt Master's great compassionate power. I was sincerely glad that my husband was back on track.
One day I dreamed of my husband and I going to college hand-in-hand. I told him seriously after I woke up, "Dafa is our real predestined relationship. Perhaps we both made pledges to come down to practice Dafa and to return upon consummation. Therefore we must cherish this predestined relationship with Dafa." He agreed, "Master's immensely compassionate. My previous wrong deeds were inhuman, yet Master didn't give up on me. From now on I must act according to the Fa so that I wouldn't feel regretful to Master and to the Fa." Hearing his words, I burst into tears again. I was so grateful to Master and to the Fa.
Now my husband can clarify the truth to sentient beings and assist them in withdrawing from the Chinese Communist Party. As for the rest of the family, my mother-in-law reads Dafa books daily and my child has become a Dafa practitioner. None of the relatives hold anything against Dafa. Our family once again became peaceful and harmonious. All these were attributed to Master's immense compassion and mercy, and to Master's perseverance in not giving up on his disciples. I did nothing but cultivate diligently and did the three things well so as to return Master's kindness of his merciful salvation, to be worthy of what Master had done for us, and to fulfill the holy mission bestowed upon us. Lastly, let us borrow Master's words in "The Fa Rectifies the Cosmos" from Hong Yin II (Translation Version B) to encourage each other:
"Mercy can melt heaven and earth into spring
Righteous thought can save people of the world"
Please kindly point out anything that is incorrect in my understanding.

(Clearwisdom.net) (By a correspondent from Jilin Province) Ms. Jin Lianshun, an ethnic Korean, began practicing Falun Dafa in 1995, and her seizures disappeared. Her children were overjoyed to see that she was no longer depressed, she let go of her mental stress, and she never suffered from seizures anymore.
On August 19, 2009, Ms. Jin saw that the weather was good, so she took a walk downstairs. She told her neighbors while chatting how her severe seizures had been cured. One of the neighbors reported her to the community administration. Soon after she returned home, a group of officers arrested her, and her home was ransacked. The police took all her Falun Dafa books and her laptop. They interrogated her and detained her 15 days in the Yanji City Detention Center.
Suddenly facing the terrifying environment, Ms. Jin was shocked. She would speak or shout while sleeping, which disturbed the inmates in the detention center. The prisoners were afraid that she would die and urged guards to release her quickly, but the authorities refused. When she was released after 15 days of detention, she became very thin and weak. She could not get over the stress caused by this incident, and she died a few days later in September 2009.
Her children were all working overseas and called her for two days without receiving an answer. Her relatives got into the house and found that she had died a few days earlier. Her body was cremated on October 5, 2009.

Let's Not Allow Relationships to Affect Our Cultivation
(Clearwisdom.net) I am writing to let practitioners know about some incidents that have had a negative effect on the cultivation of practitioners in our area. Please be on the lookout for these things.
1. Depending on fellow practitioner for personal gain
Of course, if fellow practitioners need help, it is normal to offer help. After all, we are learning to be compassionate. However, a few practitioners have not yet eradicated "greed." They are constantly asking for help on matters for personal convenience and making it difficult for fellow practitioners to do the three things. To help such a person is to support his greed.
2. Fearing criticism from fellow practitioners
Some practitioners tell others not to remind them of their attachments, saying "I know what my attachments are and if I don't, Master will remind me. Furthermore, I am studying the Fa anyway." This is clearly an attachment that reveals a fear of criticism. Actually, listening to practitioners' opinions will speed up improvement.
3. Fear of pointing out the attachments of fellow practitioners
There are many viewpoints as to whether it is helpful to point out the attachments of fellow practitioners. Some say you can do it as long as it is done in a compassionate way. Others say you are forcing your viewpoint on others, which will create disharmony and hurt people. As a result, at Fa-study meetings no one wants to talk about existing problems. (Of course, it is important to look inward and cultivate one's own thoughts. When we criticize others, we must also be careful to do it in a compassionate way.)
Actually, I think the attempt to maintain harmony is based on human notions. It also reflects the fear of being criticized by others. Giving hints and talking in a roundabout way are based on the Chinese Communists Party's (CCP) culture. A practitioner should be straightforward.
There was a fellow practitioner who loved to do more and have a large truth-clarifying material production center. He amalgamated several centers into one. Some practitioners knew the action would attract attention and increase the risk of detection but did not point it out to him. The site was eventually destroyed by the CCP. Had they pointed out the increased risk, the loss could have been smaller.
4. Fearing confrontation
Many of us (myself included) do not want to point out other's attachments directly for fear of creating disharmony because there are practitioners who cannot accept criticism. Hence, they discuss the issue behind the person's back. I think this is also Party culture and it will create a more complex environment.
A few practitioners play it both ways. In front of the person, they say, "You are carrying a heavy workload. Do you need some help?" To others, "This greedy guy wants to control everything." These practitioners are acting like everyday people.
5. Basing support on personal relationships
When different viewpoints are on the table, the support of a given viewpoint is based on the relationship with the person who voiced the opinion instead of the Fa. If his friend failed to support him, he would say, "Why do you support that guy instead of me?"
A fellow practitioner made a Dafa book, but did not want to follow the guidelines provided by Clearwisdom. It had a low-quality cover which was shorter than the book itself. When he was questioned about disrespecting Master, he replied, " It is the content, not the beauty of the cover that matters." He also used low-quality DVD discs to record Shen Yun shows. Some failed to work. Some other practitioners supported him saying, "It is all right to be able to get by with this type of disc. Different people are at different levels and hence do things differently. It is not right to enforce your own view on others." It seems like they are following the Fa, but they are protecting their own attachments and trying to validate themselves.
I think these kinds of incidents originate from human notions. Many are due to Party culture. There is a lot of fear: of criticism, of offending people, and of the possibility of getting hurt. I want to expose all of these things and try to change starting with myself. I believe each of us must improve in order to improve our environment. When each of us improves, we will be able to cooperate better and save more sentient beings.

Chicago: Westerners Support Efforts to Stop the Persecution--Chinese People Courageously Quit the Chinese Communist Party (Photos)
By a Falun Gong practitioner in Chicago
(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioners in Chicago held activities at Lichaoling Square, on Chinatown's Yonghuo Street as usual on the sunny weekend after Thanksgiving Day, on November 28, 2009. They exposed the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) brutal persecution of Falun Gong to the public, and told them about the Falun Gong practitioners who have remained steadfast in their beliefs in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance during the past ten-years of opposing the persecution. They emphasized the news about the Spanish National Court's recent decision to indict five high-ranking CCP officials including former CCP head Jiang Zemin, along with Luo Gan, Bo Xilai, Jia Qinglin and Wu Guanzheng. These five defendants are charged for committing crimes of genocide and torture against Falun Gong. Many people showed interest in the information, and many Westerners took the initiative to sign the petition supporting Falun Gong, condemning the CCP, and calling for an end to the persecution.

Many overseas Chinese students came to celebrate Thanksgiving Day in Chicago, and passed by and learned about the facts of the persecution. Many took the book Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and registered to quit the CCP, the Communist Youth League and the Communist Young Pioneers. Thirty-five Chinese, mostly young students, renounced the CCP and its affiliated organizations that afternoon.

Practitioners Should Not Feel Vexed
By a practitioner in China
(Clearwisdom.net) I live in a very dusty and dry city. My furniture and floors always have dust on them. As a result, I have to clean my home every day, which has always bothered me a lot. Today, I did it again. I suddenly realized that practitioners should not feel vexed. I should not feel bothered by the dust in my home.
I thought about it further and realized that I am annoyed by many things. When telemarketers leave messages on my answering machine, I delete them impatiently. I am depressed if my child works slowly when I help him with assignments. When having a discussion with someone who is very talkative, I become annoyed. I was bitten by a dog when I was young, so I don't like dogs at all now. But there are many people who have pets in the city, and the pets also relieve themselves on the street. I get angry about this. Whenever I saw other children's urine in the elevator, I became very upset. I was very upset by these things and this certainly had a negative influence on my life and my cultivation. I didn't realize this however, during the first ten years of my cultivation.
Teacher said,
"If you always keep a compassionate heart, and a peaceful state of mind, when you run into problems you'll handle them well because it will give you space as a buffer. If you are always compassionate and friendly to others, if you always consider other people when you do things, and whenever you have issues with other people you first think about whether they can take it or whether it will cause them harm, then you won't have any problem. So, when you cultivate you should follow high and even higher standards." (Zhuan Falun)
As a cultivator, I did not do well with respect to forbearance, nor did I do well with compassion, both qualities which are essential to the characteristic of the universe, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
The moral standard of society these days is sliding down a thousand miles a day. So many people act irrationally and selfishly, without any consideration for others. I know now that as a practitioner, I should not complain when people are being unfair. Instead, I should use my compassion to help them realize their wrongdoing so that they may correct themselves.
Because of my limited cultivation state and education, I find it hard to express my feelings when talking about such a profound Dafa. Please kindly correct anything inappropriate.

Released After Six Years in Prison, Mr. Sun Guo Still Subjected to Relentless Persecution
(Clearwisdom.net) For over ten years, Mr. Sun Guo and his family in Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province have suffered from brutal persecution by the CCP because of their steadfast belief in Master Li and Falun Gong. Mr. Sun Guo was detained for over six years, from September 2002 to December 2008. His wife has been forced to leave their home and has been wandering around in a homeless state for years to avoid persecution. Both of them were fired from their work units. During his detention in prison, Sun Guo's parents, who were over 80 years old, suffered from the stress and pressure of their son being in prison and constantly worried about his safety. Because of that, they passed away one after another. His mother-in-law kept being harassed by the 610 Office police, and the security staff from the Electric Bureau frightened her so much that she suffered a mental breakdown. She has been sent to the hospital several times.
After Sun Guo was released, he was still being closely monitored by the 610 Office and the CCP's staff within the Zhaoyuan City Electric Bureau. Day and night, specially assigned people took turns monitoring and following him.
Here are some persecution details.
Since July 20, 1999, when the CCP started to persecute Falun Gong, led by the heads of Zhaoyuan Electric Bureau, Jiang Honghai and Tong Suzhang, the officials have been actively involved in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, especially in the case of Sun Guo. Before Sun Guo was sentenced in 2002, they had tried many times to force Sun Gong to hand over the Falun Gong books and to write the so-called "guarantee statement" to give up practicing Falun Gong. They assigned people to specifically monitor Sun Guo's home and follow him around. They bugged his home phone and even cut off his phone service. For years, during the "sensitive days," the security staff even slept in front of the door of Sun Guo's home in order to watch him day and night and to prevent him from going anywhere. Even when Sun Guo went back to his hometown to celebrate the Chinese New Year, he was still followed, which made the entire family and all the relatives feel very uneasy and uncomfortable during the holidays.
On April 3, 2002, Sun Guo was placed on the wanted list of the Zhaoyuan City 610 Office. He was forced to leave home and wander around. He was fired from the Electric Bureau. More than ten police and security personnel from the 610 Office and the Electric Bureau surrounded Sun Guo's home and forced his wife to hand over Sun Guo; otherwise they claimed they were going to arrest his wife. His wife was forced to leave the house as well to avoid being arrested. Their young daughter was left home alone. They even followed and monitored their daughter for more than 40 days, which caused her extreme mental anguish.
In September 2002, because of distributing truth-clarification materials, Sun Guo was arrested in Biguo Town, Zhaoyuan City. After being detained in the detention center for half a year, Sun Guo was illegally sentenced to eight years in prison and was sent to No.1 Prison in Shandong Province. During his detention, Sun Guo suffered inhumane torture and almost lost his life. He was released in December 2008.
During his detention, since his wife had to leave home as well, the family had no income. His daughter had great difficulty paying the cost of going to school. Any normal family life was completely disrupted.
After returning home, Sun Guo went to talk to Jiang Honghai, the head of the Electric Bureau, to ask for his job back. He was refused. Later, after asking several more times, he was given a temporary position.
Recently, the officials in the bureau said they were given official orders from a higher authority to step up the persecution. Once again they started to monitor and follow Sun Guo around. He was monitored at work, at home and when outside, which put a great deal of pressure on his family. Even his right to live a normal life is being violated.

Tong Shuzhang, Deputy Head, used to be in charge of persecuting Falun Gong practitioners; he has now been sentenced to thirteen years in prison because of a corruption charge.
Liu Jianping, Head of the Party Committee (CCP). He is now in charge of persecuting Falun Gong practitioners.

Ms. Li Shihong's Family Persecuted for Ten Years
By a Dafa practitioner from Wuhan City, Hubei Province
(Clearwisdom.net) Lu Hai, a 13-year-old boy, had to live with his grandmother, Song Wenxiu, after his father, Lu Qiqi, and his mother, Li Shihong, were illegally arrested last year.
Then, on June 12, 2009, when Jiang'an District Court in Wuhan City, Hubei Province held an illegal trial for three Falun Gong practitioners, Ms. Song Wenxiu wanted to be present. When she neared the courthouse, she was arrested by the Riot Division at the Jiang'an District Police Substation. She was later illegally detained in the Chenjiaji Brainwashing Center in Jiang'an District.
Poor little Lu Hai now has to live all by himself. He has lost his dear grandmother, who fended for him. In Lu Hai's memory, there were few times when his whole family was ever together over the past ten years. His father, his mother, and even his grandmother were often arrested. There are many incurable wounds to his fragile heart.
A few days after his grandmother was arrested, officers from Danshuichi Police Station and agents from the Domestic Security Division of Jiang'an District Police Substation went again to his school. By means of deceit and threats, they interrogated Lu Hai and forced him to sign a document. They pressed his fingerprint on the written statement of his interrogation record.
Ms. Song Arrested and Home Ransacked in Broad Daylight
On March 31, 2009, after Ms. Song Wenxiu came downstairs from her apartment, she was captured by a crowd of plainclothes officers hiding outside her apartment building. They rushed at her and grabbed her, and covered her mouth with their hands, then forced her into a police wagon. At the same time, they took the key to her apartment from her pocket. The one with the key immediately rushed to her apartment upstairs and ransacked her home. He took cash, a laptop, a printer, and Dafa books. Ms. Song's apartment was a mess. That afternoon, when her daughter, Ms. Li Shihong, came home, she was also arrested by plainclothes officers hiding and waiting for her outside.
Those responsible for this case are the team leader, whose last name is Luo, from the Domestic Security Division of Jiang'an District Police Substation, and Wan Baozhu, an officer from Danshuichi Police Station. At around 6:00 p.m. that day, Ms. Song was released, but her daughter, Ms. Li Shihong, was illegally detained at the No. 1 Detention Center in Wuhan City. Again, Lu Hai had to live with his grandmother, Ms. Song, alone. When they cleaned up their home, they found that a lot of money (about 1,200 yuan) was missing. They had hoped to live on that money. No matter how they begged the police, the head of the police station didn't admit that they had taken the money. Ms. Li Shihong's arrest did away with the family's only source of income, since Ms. Li Shihong's husband, Mr. Lu Qiqi, was also illegally detained at a prison in Guangdong Province, which is more than 1,000 miles away from their home.
In order to find something to charge Ms. Li Shihong with, agents from the Domestic Security Division of Jiang'an District Police Substation, and a policeman with the last name of Li from the Danshuichi Police Station, visited Lu Hai's school. They didn't care that Lu Hai was taking the mid-term examination at the time, and they forced his teacher to bring him to her office. They interrogated him for two hours without a break. They wanted to know who his mother contacted and what his mother had done. Little Lu Hai couldn't bear this interrogation and made a phone call to his aunt when he went to the restroom. His aunt later helped him and took him home.
A Once-happy Family That Practiced Cultivation
Little Lu Hai had a happy family in those early years. His father and mother both cultivated Falun Gong. Since they followed the teachings of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, their health improved significantly, both physically and mentally, and they became virtuous people with high moral standards.
His father, Mr. Lu Qiqi, was a former state-registered engineer in the field of building design. He had a job with a high annual salary of more than 100,000 yuan. His boss also highly praised him. Lu Hai's mother, Ms. Li Shihong, is a nice person and treats others warmheartedly. People who know her all say that they can feel the compassion and selflessness of a Falun Gong practitioner from her behavior.
Ten Years of Tribulations
On July 20, 1999, the evil Chinese Communist Party (CCP) launched the persecution of Falun Gong. Because Lu Hai's parents and grandmother didn't give up their belief in Falun Gong, they were repeatedly harassed, illegally arrested, detained, and sent to forced labor camps and even prisons.
In March 2000, CCP agents arrested Ms. Li and held her for five months. She was detained at the brainwashing center in the Huangpi District of Wuhan city. In late 2000, without a warrant, the authorities broke in and ransacked Ms. Li's home. She was then taken to the Qiaokou District Brainwashing Center in Wuhan City and later sent to an undisclosed forced labor camp for one year. During that time, her husband was taken by the authorities to the Sanatorium of the Wuhan City Police Department, the Wuhan City Second Detention Center, and the brainwashing center of Jiang'an District in Wuhan City. He was later forced to stay away from home to avoid capture.
At that time, Lu Hai was only four years old and had to stay with his grandmother. During the first half of 2002, Ms. Li was arrested and sent to the Baibuting Brainwashing Center, where she was brutally beaten to the point that she was near death. Her family took her home from the hospital.
In April 2004, Mr. Lu went missing. In September, the family received an anonymous call and learned that he was jailed in Shayang City, Hubei Province. He was then transferred to the brainwashing center in the Jiang'an District of Wuhan for one year. In October 2005, Mr. Lu was sent to the Hewan Forced Labor Camp in Wuhan City. In December 2007, he was arrested again while distributing Falun Gong truth-clarification materials in Shenzhen City, and sentenced to four years in prison by the Baoan District Court in Shenzhen City.
Actually, what little Lu Hai's family has experienced is only "the tip of the iceberg." It is one story among many that make up the huge tragedy that our nation is now suffering from. Since the CCP launched the inhumane persecution of Falun Gong in 1999, how many Falun Gong practitioners have suffered as a result of the unbelievably brutal persecution? How many happy families have been crushed during this evil persecution? The suffering of little Lu Hai's family clearly reflects the evil nature of the CCP, highlighting the disaster that our nation and our people as a whole are having to endure.
The evil persecution hasn't stopped and the evildoings continue. We hope all those who are righteous and compassionate will help stop the persecution and help the many good people in China who are being persecuted right now. Let the Chinese people get prepared to witness the bright future of the nation that is on its way.
